A native of Deer Park, New York, clarinetist Kaitlyn Sicinski thoroughly enjoys a musical career as an educator and performer. She believes strongly in the necessity to advocate for the arts in school, and she is passionate about sharing the intrinsic value of music with her students. Sicinski holds a Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of North Texas, and a B.M. in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, graduating summa cum laude from both schools. An avid ensemble musician and lover of wind music, Sicinski has participated in recording projects with the North Texas Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band. She is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda Honor Society and was a recipient of the Rocque F. Dominic Outstanding Clarinetist Award in 2012 at Crane. Ms. Sicinski currently teaches band, choir, and general music in the Moulton-Udell Community School District of Moulton, Iowa. She also serves as principal clarinetist of the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra and the Southeast Iowa Band.
